Introductory school for the CLIMB project.
Topics addressed will be:

  1. Physical-chemistry of lipids and membranes

  2. Biological membranes: role, function, composition, diversity

  3. Overview of scattering techniques

  4. Overview of imaging techniques

  5. Spectroscopies and other analytical tools

  6. Numerical simulation approaches

  7. Data analysis: Introduction to the modern statistical tools. Regression, classification, deep-learning

  8. Good practices: open access, data, FAIR science, ethical issues, gender and minority biases, intellectual property
